RML MG Lola topping the bill at Donington Park

The RML MG Lola EX264 has been chosen to illustrate some of the official advertising for next weekend's UK round of the Le Mans Series at Donington Park.

The promotion focuses on the rare appearance at a British circuit of the Le Mans style of international motorsport. Some of the "most glamorous" cars in the world will be there, offering an "exotic mix of thoroughbred open-top racing cars" and supercars like the Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche.

The image used shows Mike Newton driving the MG at Monza in last season's LMES, and features on the high resolution gallery of photographs taken for the team by David Lord of dailysportscar.

Tickets for the weekend are priced at £15 for the Saturday (practice and qualifying) and £20 for the raceday on Sunday. Children are admitted free. Anyone planning to attend both days is encouraged to book in advance and take advantage of the weekend rate of £25.
