This gallery contains images from the fifth and final round
of the 2006 Le Mans Series, staged at Jarama in Spain over
the weekend of September 23rd and 24th 2006. In the end, Thomas
Erdos maintained his unbeaten qualifying record with some
style, emerging fasest in LMP2 by almost exactly a second,
but the sinister sixes - six poles from six starts - concluded
with the car retiring six minutes short of the flag in a six
hour race whilst lying sixth overall. See here for a press
